Review Notes: This attractive box-pressed maduro has a rich dark chocolate wrapper with minimal veins and no soft spots. Nice prelight aroma. Easy light, outstanding draw and even burn throughout. Started a little harsh with black pepper and spice, but eased into a smooth, complex flavor with dominant notes of cocoa, earth, and a hint of dark chocolate. This one hour smoke paired nicely with a single barrel bourbon, though I think it would have been better accompanied by coffee. Tons of white smoke and a gray ash that held its composure well. Lingering, but pleasant aftertaste. I enjoyed this almost to the nub. Bought a box.
