Review Notes: I was hot on the Fonseca Serie F robusto, so when I found these, I thought I'd give them a shot. Suffice it to say, I'm glad I did. The wrapper is a gorgeous tawny brown. No soft spots and impeccable construction, just the same as for the Serie F. Minor veining. Prelight aroma was delightful. Easy light. Even burn. Smooth draw. Tight white ash that held for 2 inches with voluminous billowy smoke. Started with mild leather and pepper, and quickly transitioned into strong cedar and a hint of toast that was maintained the length of the cigar. The one drawback is that some could call it "one-dimensional", as the flavor profile didn't change much for me down the whole stick, but at least to my taste, this was not an issue. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, and at the end of 40 minutes when it was almost nubbed, it left me wanting for more - always a good sign. It paired well with the Knob Creek (neat), for those who are interested, but would also go well with any ale or lager, in my opinion. I bought a fiver of these, and would definitely buy more. Solid.
