Review Notes: Another excellent smoke from La Aurora. Beautiful toothy brownish-red wrapper with medium veins, no soft spots, and smooth perfecto shape. Easy light. Smooth draw. Perfect burn without tunneling or canoeing. Held its gray-white ash all the way down to the last inch. Started with pepper and spice, then eased its way into a complex blend of spice and wood with some grassy notes in the middle half. Very pleasant aftertaste. Burned a little hot in the last inch, but I was trying to nub it! Powerful smoke, in that it is distinctive and flavorful, but not "in your face". Not a headspinner or loaded down with Vitamin N. Smoked it in the late morning with a cup of Joe that matched well. About a 45 minute smoke. Obviously the packaging is a sight to behold, but the stick inside is the real treat. Bought a box of 24.
