Review Notes: This is an extremely good cigar. Rich, velvety dark brown wrapper with minimal veins. Nice prelight aroma. No soft spots. Easy light. Good draw. Even burn without the need for correction. Voluminous white smoke. Gray ash that was somwhat flakey. Started with mild pepper and spice, then mellowed out in the first third and was joined by sweet leather and earthy notes. A cedar note began in the middle third that intensified and became more prominent by the end of the middle third and continued strongly into the last third. The earthy and cedar notes seemed to jump back and forth in their intensity, which contributed to the overal complexity of this medium-bodied smoke. Overall, I thought this was a very enjoyable 1 hour and 45 minute smoke that should be savored and smoked slowly to fully appreciate its character. Paired well with a cup of Killer Beans. Definitely will make it into the standard rotation.
