Review Notes: Great sunny memorial day. This cigar was well constructed with a one large vein down it's side and a triple cap on the end. Wrapper color was a little lighter then other maduro's I have smoked. This was my 1st Pepin so my expectations were very high. I lite this sucker and was impressed by the large amounts of smoke. It started out spicy with hints of coffee and a small sugary taste. The burn was alittle uneven but never became a problem. As you can see in the picture the Ash was a nice white/grey and took forever to fall off. 2nd and 3rd part of the cigar it mellowed out losing its spicey tone but kept up with its sweet coffee profile. This also when the Nicotine kicked in. This thing hit me like a buzzsaw (ala Opus X/Gerbil). I enjoy this cigar and smoked it till it burned my fingers. In conclusion this was a great cigar
