Review Notes: Today I passed my oral prelims and decided I would burn this stick. The local store suggested I open up the tube for about an hour before smoking. As soon as I opened it up, the strong smell of cognac was assaulting me (okay not assaulting....it smelled good). It smelled like congac and sweet tobacco. The cigar looked wonderfully constructed. The first third of the cigar tasted strongly of cognac that seemed to go well with the Connecticut wrapper. After this though, the Connecticut flavors showed up more and more. The flavor at the last third went bitter and I called it quits. This cigar kept tunneling on me and required a lot of upkeep. It was worth it though for the first two-thirds of the cigar. Would I smoke this again? Yeah I think so....but maybe for another special occasion. I docked it points for the burn issues and the bitter ending.
