Review Notes: First 1964 ever. I really liked the first third which screamed "patience" and "savor me". At first, every puff was sheer joy. This feeling faded some as the cigar became more complex, dropping a notch in the "wow" factor in the second and the sort of anti-climatic finish of this cigar. Maybe it was the size that didn't give off a ton of smoke that took away something with this cigar. I sure would have enjoyed plumes of smoke. Nuts, damp wood, earth, and other mystery flavors of a quality blend were there. It reminded me of a perfectly aged Cohiba Sligo II, without the dizzying strength. A nice cigar. I hear they age wonderfully also. But I'd take a Sligo II or an Ashton VSG over this one, since I don't have the patience to wait for years.
