Review Notes: I’ve had two of these and the one I just smoked had a slight draw problem that loosened up about half way down. The burn started out a tad uneven but also fixed itself. When I had my first one about a month ago, it had none of these minor problems. Overall I have to say that the construction is good. And, the wrapper is so dark and oily that it looks plain badass. Now when it comes to flavor is where this cigar shines. The first third had that typical earthy/spicy maduro taste but on the second third is when things got interesting for me. The cigar just opened up with a kick of sweetness that reminded me of a caramel frappe from Starbucks… no lie. It also had a powerful nicotine kick, which I personally enjoy. I unfortunately had to let go if this thing before I made significant progress on the last third but the flavor was hanging on with no sign of harshness. For the money, I have to say this smoke is hard to beat in terms of the interesting and varied flavors it delivers.
