Review Notes: The Nectar probably gets the unflattering title of worst of the Ambrosia line. Good lord is it a dry smoke. My tongue was shriveled up a quarter of the way through the thing. Also, whereas the Acids rely on sweetnes and a delicate spice, the Ambrosias are all pretty heavily spiced in a picante sort of way and the Nectar is probably the second spiciest next to Spice itself. But here, the spice didn't work in the cigars favor and eventually my tortured tongue was further incapacitated by a numbness that still lingers and tastes like the rubber residue that gets on your lips when you blow up a balloon. There was nothing even vaguely reminsicent of a Nectar flavor to it. The flavor of the actual smoke itself tapered off a bit and grew rather cool-- mildly refreshing. But it was too little too late. The construction and burn was solid, even, enjoyable in and of itself, and the smoke texture was not without its nice character, but I don't think I'll partake in another Nectar anytime soon (well...I got two of them at once...but I'll put off smoking the other one til I'm desperate).
