Review Notes: After a few more sticks from various boxes, I have revised my original opinion. The burn in many of them has been at best mediocre, with canoeing and variably hot and harsh or mild at 3 inches. The flavor has not been nearly as good as the first few boxes I've sampled from, and is generally a bit funky ligero with a weird almost maduro overtone. It is no longer on my recommended list.

"Huge improvement"

Review Notes: This cigar started out creamy and spicy, and quickly turned to a leathery ligero flavor that was solid throughout. It was medium+ in body and smooth to about 1.5 inches where it turned a bit harsh. With some added oakiness at about 3 inches this is a fairly complex smoke and a big improvement over the previous generation. Similar to the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel but without the tarry overtones.

"Vastly improved"

Review Notes: The previous blends were pretty decent overall, but lacking in strength and complexity. This one had a creamy, spicy start that turned into a med+ bodied leathery ligero flavor that was solid through the whole cigar. I was hoping for a bit more complexity but the tone was really nice. At around the half point it added some nice oaky flavors. Similar to the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero Chisel Maduro, but with a bit less strength and none of the funky tarry bits. It burned nice up to the last 1.5 inches where it turned harsh. Vastly improved, and will probably age well (my samples aged about 3-4 weeks in my humidor).
