Review Notes: Pleasant? Very much so! Surprised? Not at all, this puro represents everything you've come to expect from Gurkha cigars. Dark, flawless wrapper and well constructed. The burn and draw were both even and the flavor was rich, with dark chocolate and espresso notes. It is rated as full bodied, which may be true to some, however, I found it more medium-to-full but very smooth and well balanced. After factoring in price, appearance, and (the great) flavor, I believe this smoke will be well worth your time and money.
