Review Notes: An Altadis rep came by my local B&M giving away free sticks. Which is always nice you never know what hidden treasure you may find. The wrapper looked flawless actually too flawless as though it was massed produced. I did not see much difference in the two sticks the guy gave to me. Call me crazy but I like to see a little flaw here or there to let me know the cigar was rolled in someones hands. The worst part about the overall construction was a few bits of filler tobacco feel from the foot. Which made me think of Phillie Blunts,White Owls, etc.. In the first third of the cigar the smoke at the foot gave off an acidic aroma. The fragrance was not very inviting. The draw was very easy which was the only nice aspect but the amount of smoke on the palette in proportion to the ease of draw was inconsistent. The flavor was bitter and what lingered on the palette was very sour. This smoke honestly gave me the feeling as though I was smoking just to smoke. However as a cigar enthusiast I smoke for taste, not aesthetics ! Once I was 2/3's the way into the cigar I put it down.
