Review Notes: Wrapper is dark and has some oil, and the veins are well-subdued. Easy to light and maintains its burn without any work. The burn is uneven, however, and does not correct itself. Draw is medium. A lot of full-bodied smoke comes out of this puppy, and it has a mild, somewhat sweet aroma. Coffee is by far the most obvious flavor along with a significant earthiness. Finish is long-lasting and roasty with some nuts. This is quite a mellow maduro…not harsh in any way. It comes with a good price tag, too: I got mine for $2.30 as part of a sampler form CI. Overall it’s pretty well-balanced and it has a decent construction. My only complaint is that the ash could be a little stronger: this stick creates a mess wherever you’re sitting unless you’re careful. I give it a B+.
