Review Notes: I just opened a box of corona gorda that I bought around 2002. They could roll them a little better. I believe the wrapper was a tiny bit loose, which led to a slightly uneven burn, but not bad enough to cause a problem, and the ash held fairly well. Because of this, I deducted several construction points, plus a value point. The draw was good. A bit shiny and fairly dark shade of chestnut brown "Indonesian Vorstenlanden" wrapper. Very nice taste of cedar and other wood, with hints of assorted fruits. Fairly mild to medium, and a rather nice texture of smoke. At around $2 a stick, well worth a try. Had the construction been better, I would have scored straight 8's. Now I need to try the maduro, since I read in Ashman's review that he liked them much better than these natural wrapped Habano Primero.
