Review Notes: I was in the mood again for a Connecticut wrapped Dominican. They call this a robusto, but it is closer in size to a toro. Well constructed, great draw and burn. A golden wrapper, with a few veins. I was surprised at the body of the cigar, medium to full, but smooth. Not a hint of harshness. I had to check Perlmans, I thought there had to be some Honduran in the mixture, because there was a slight trait of grass, but it is straight Dominican binder and filler. Very tasty, ranging from grain to cream and toast. Slight traits of tangy fruits and perhaps exotic nuts. Extra value for the large size. Certainly not the everyday Connecticut wrapped Dominican. A very nice change of pace from a Montecristo, Don Diego and such types.
