Review Notes: A 1996 Upmann with a handsome, chestnut brown wrapper. The best construction, as one expects from a good Cuban cigar. Still quite a powerhouse regarding the fullness of the body of smoke, but the aging tempers it a bit into a silky smoothness. I hate to stereotype, but it tastes "Cuban" ... LOL. Unlike any other nations tobacco blends. Not overly complex, but simply a very fine, leathery tobacco flavor, with the tiniest hint of toasty bread. A memorable experience. I traded for these, but would gladly pay the 10 dollar average price for one, especially for this well aged beauty I am smoking now. I still have a big handful of singles, and can't wait to see what a delight these will develop into in another ten years. Then again, maybe I can wait. In ten years, I will be an OLD MAN! LOL (But an old man with a terrific Upmann)
