Review Notes:
This is just what a cigar should be. Fair price, great construction, a handsome dark brown wrapper inside a cedar sleeve. A smooth, medium to full body of silky smoke, effortless draw, and tastes good. I picked up a 5 pack of these Hoyo Darks for $15 at auction. Packed with tobacco, slow even burn, and a white ash. Its a fat ring size, and a bit longer than a toro, almost Churchill length. A multitude of varying flavors, ranging from wood, to fruits, nuts, breads, coffee, and chocolate. Burns so nice and slow, the flavors vary at different burn points. About at the 2/3 burn point, becomes a rather straight forward tobacco flavored cigar, but still tasted good. So a warning for beginner smokers, you may only want to smoke these about half way, but it would be worth the effort, and you would still get your money's worth. I have a huge cigar collection, and really have no great need to purchase, but I will definitely keep an eye out for another 5 pack, and would buy a box if I see a nice sale. That's how impressed I am with this tasty treat. I very much recommend trying one.
