Review Notes: The LTC Deluxe Anniversary Churchill is a 6x52 gem. The wrapper is a nice dark brown and toothy, though a bit rough in spots. It could be a Criollo or other cuban seed wrapper, though LTC does not specify. Construction is excellent; this a well rolled, firm cigar. The cigar starts with a medium bodied woodsy flavor with a some spice sometimes a bit of pepper. The spice tones quickly diminishes as the flavors of coffee and earth emerge, and the strength builds slowly and deceptively. Somewhere past the halfway mark the cigar delivers a full bodied mix of coffee, earth, and leather tones that are complex yet surprising creamy and smooth. An excellent cigar that really rewards the patient smoker.
