Review Notes: I've had many of these. They are at worst (with 6 months of box time) average. At best, with 2 years of aging like mine are now they can be an "8" cigar. This cigar did receive a 90 from one of those fancy, schmancy cigar magazines (I think it was a blind test too). Don't ever be afraid to lay a box of these down. Please be helpful with your reviews. This is what this site is all about. Don't bitch about cigars without stating the amount of time you aged your stick. I read too many reviews like the one below. Why did it taste like cardboard? maybe you smoked it the day you bought it? Duh...of course it's going to taste like brown paper. When these are green (like any cigar) they are not very good. I know. I've smoked these green. They did taste like cardboard and it was harsh. These Cico Vegas' are a patient persons inexpensive everyday cigar. If you want right out of the box perfection (maybe) go pay $20 for a '26 or '64 Padron. I cant afford that so I pay less but must wait a while for them to get good. Mine are fine, I had another good experience with these. You can too.

"A solid everyday $3 smoke."

Review Notes: Tuesday afternoon's 5 Vegas experience reminded me how nice these can be. These are not going to win any beauty contests, they are not going to blow you away with intense changing flavor profiles, and you'll run into some minor construction issues regarding burn and draw every fourth stick or so. But for $3 a throw, once properly aged for at least 3 months, you can't beat these as an everyday smoker. You can count on them being mostly medium bodied, full of slightly sweet, straight tobacco type flavors, with some coffee, wood, and earth overtones. Enjoy.

"Getting better with age."

Review Notes: Unbelievable how good these guys get with aging. A must try cigar. Exceptional value. I brought one to Texas hold'em night a few weeks ago. I broke out even, but this stick's flavor was "big slick" for an hour and a half. I think you'll always have some burn and construction issues with these but the flavor is fan-@#%$&*#-tastic for $3.00 a throw. Make sure you give them plenty of box time.

"Solid everyday smoke"

Review Notes: It all depends upon the price you end op paying for these. I paid $2 a stick at Cigar bid. At $2 a throw these are fantastic. Solid middle of the road flavor and complexity. Nothing world shattering, but good. Good burn and draw. Nice ash. At 4 bucks a throw these are not bad but you can get better...ie El Rey Del Mundo, Cusano Rocky Patel seconds, Fonseca. Make sure you age the 5 Vegas sticks a month or so before smoking. They get better with "marination".
