Review Notes: I find Cusano cigars in general to have exceptional value. However, you will run into consistency issues in their brands like the Cusano 18 I smoked yesterday. Although the burn and draw were exceptional, the flavor of this well aged stick was off. It was bland, one demensional, and slightly harsh for the first two thirds. Only in the last third did the nice creamy flavors usually present in this cigar come through. I've smoked 4 of these so far. Two had great flavors. Two were average. The chance you take with a $4 cigar. (I paid $3 at auction) The consistency issues with this line prevents me from buying a box. I would consider them in 5 packs only for now.

Review Notes: A handsome, mild to medium bodied cigar that had a razor sharp burn and an easy draw prducing gobs of smoke with a creamy flavor profile. As mentioned by Toro Tom, these cigars do benefit from aging. The stick I smoked Saturday had been in the box for 4 months and tasted better than the previous 2 I smoked. The flavor profile reminded me of the Fonseca Vintage Series. This is a quality cigar from Cusano. A must try for mild to medium fans. Most full flavor fans would enjoy this as a morning smoke. I shall enter $3 for price paid. A fine value.

Review Notes: Aging has produced a smooth, attractive, mild to medium cigar with a razor sharp burn and perfect draw. Flavor has notes of creamy nuts and spice within an overall slightly sweet tobacco that should hit your palate just right. Nothing mindblowing for the full bodied fans here. Mild to medium lovers may find this outstanding. This is a very nice, solid $4 cigar. I am pretty sure I paid $3.00 /stick at auction. A wonderful value.

"Don't know what to think..."

Review Notes: Cusano generally makes many good valued underrated cigars in the mild to medium flavor range. I always keep cusano m1's and cusano corojos's in my box. They are hard to beat value wise at $2 a stick. I decided to go ahead and buy the Cusano 18. I grabbed the last stick in the box from my cigar man. This unwanted stick started out full flavored and tickled my nose for a while. It settled into a medium range earthy creamy slightly sweet flavor. It actually finished kind of mild. Very strange experience with this stick. I liked it. But I don't know what to completely think of it. The cigar had construction problems...it went out twice and burned a bit uneven. The wrapped had a few blemishes. Due to it being an orphan... I will definitely try another and rank again soon.
