Review Notes: Gorgeous looking cigar. Down hill from there. This stick has had at least a year of aging. It smoked fine. It burnt mostly fine. Flavor was a mundane one dimensional straightforward tobacco type experience without the nice mocha and earth I experienced last time. Because this cigar looks so good I could see folks being fooled into wanting to pay top $ for it. Don't be. If you must try this you should be able to score these on c-bid in the $4 range tops. I got mine for $2.50. I still feel these cigars have some potential, but I am finding them inconsistent flavor wise.

Review Notes: Two more months of box time made this a very enjoyable cigar. Very attractive "rosado" Ecuadorian wrapper. Draw was just fine. Burn was a bit uneven but didn't take away from overall cigar enjoyment. I found this to be mostly full flavored but not overpowering. Basically a smooth, straight forward full tobacco flavor with some hints leather and mocha. A bit one demensional. No lingering nasty aftertaste. This stick lasted about 2 hours. Pull the trigger if you can get them in the $3 to 5 range. I don't think they are worth $7. Value rating based on $2.50 here.

"Another Perdomo bust?"

Review Notes: Prettiest cigar I have ever seen. The wrapper was a perfect, seamless, smooth, reddish-brown ecuadorian. It was all downhill after that. Draw was impossibly tight. I poked. I massaged. I poked again. I massaged again. I never got this stick to draw right until the last 1/4. There were some full bodied flavor experiences in this stick that were nice. But since the smoke never got going...this stick failed to deliver what may be a dramatic and nice full bodied flavor profile and experience. She had been marinating in the box for about 45 days. She looked and felt ready. Gauge said she was ready to go. Unfortunately she just never got going right. Perdomo cigars have been very inconsistent for me lately...I am beginning to sour on this once great manufacturer. MSRP of nearly $7 could be worth it. I paid $2.50/stick and it wasn't due to the draw...I hope one of my four left comes through. This cigar could be awesome.
