Review Notes: My go to cigar is Partagas Shorts, and I like smaller cigars due to time constraints on my smoking. The Siglo I is a pretty cigar with the nice wrapper, cap, and classic band. My Party shorts make this cigar look small, thats how small this Perla is. Punched it and it lit up nicely. Quite dark ash, typical habano gray. Taste started off great, smooth habano taste, creamy, woody, quite nice - started and remained stronger than Party shorts. Burn required some attention, but nothing serious. Draw was perfect. Half way down I noticed some bitterness that detracted. This one was less than a year old, my shorts smoke much better at this age (Partagas shorts - you silly boy). They are also quite a bit cheaper. Still, the Siglo 1 is a classy likeable cigar that I wouldn't mind having more of.
