Review Notes: I find these cupidos to be ugly. Lumps at the head, poorly applied caps, somewhat uneven shapes. The wrappers in both the Crillo and Classic lines are oily and hold together well. Very few veins but again the caps are the weak part of the construction. This baby lit up well, the ash was medium (Cuban) gray, ash from some of the leaves in the gar were darker gray than others. The wrapper is decidely sweet tasting, the smoke smooth, earthy and somewhat fruity. Fruity, yes, reminded me a bit of a fruit cake. "You're a fruit cake" ... I know, I'm just telling you what I tasted. Ash held together very well, I had 2 inches hanging and knocked it off myself, it would have held on longer. This is my favorite of the cupidos I've tried so far. Smooth but rich medium body.
