Review Notes: I received a Christmas gift this past weekend, a gift certificate for the local cigar shop. I bought a whole handful of cigars that I wound not normally paid the inflated prices for. One of my choices was the Montecristo No.2 (D.R.) it haven’t been able to find any from the other country that are genuine. Still, this cigar was great to look at it had a beautiful wrapper. The leaf was near flawless, and construction of it was perfect. Some care was definitely put into these, I couldn’t find any mistakes. The draw, unlit, was good, after lighting it maintained until the last 2 inches then started to clog a bit. A perfect mild to medium bodied smoke, very light in the beginning then a little zest build as I smoked more, great finish. This one had a very light toasty flavor, which stayed with me for a little while after it was through. The burn on the No. 2 was a bit erratic in the beginning but worked itself out after about a 1/3 was smoked. I paid $11.00 of funny money for this ride, a little pricey. BOTTOM LINE: I liked it a lot, but a little to pricey to smoke everyday, perfect construction and looks, I will definitely get some more of these and hopefully some crafted in a different county
