Review Notes: On a Sunday morning after cutting down the weeds in the field off the Chicken hill I lit this one up just before noon with an IPA and watched my wife fill some pots with lots of flowers. Praise the almighty, summer is just ‘round the corner. The LG burned nice, it produced lots of filling smoke. The flavor was one dimensional until the very end. More on that in a moment. The taste was calming—somewhere here on this planet where there is no strife, just smooth cool earth, mild cedar and tobacco. Add the beer before noon, the young flowers and the beautiful wife and what else is there? The promise of summer, cool breeze coming off the lake and another cigar on the hill, that’s what. Hm. Oh yeah, the LG picked up some wild mint chocolate tones with about an inch and a half left. I nubbed it dangerously close to the tip of the nose. Curious if anyone else has danced the second degree burn in pursuit of this flavor in the Wavell?
