Review Notes: I took the day off to relax and planned on smoking a long one. But I ended up in a muddy hole helping my father with an emergency waterline leak. So when I finally got the time to kick back I had to pick a short one. I called up the SLR. Uh, mine was shy of the 5” mark. Short changed I guess. Everything about this cigar was just fine. It had a nice maduro flavor with coffee and spice, and it made tons of smoke. A little bit of canoeing. I paired it with a perfect home brewed summer ale compliments of my good, gadget-obsessed buddy. Sad thing was my duties of father stepped off the school bus just a little over half way in, so I sat the SLR maddie down and let it go out. Epilogue: I went out after dark and lit it back up hoping like a filthy beggar that it would still taste good. Oh the horrors. Even if it burns a corpse is a corpse and tastes as such.
