Review Notes: Based on all the “time, let it age” reviews here I let this one sit in the bottom of the humidor for solid year even though I was tempted over and over to try it out. I like the looks of this guy. Very classy and smelled rich. I punched the head and the cap gave a twist that made me go oh boy, this is going to be one of those wide open cap smokes with a lot of messy leaf in my mouth. And it was. I had to correct the burn so many times. It tasted fine, just a shy bit milder than I was expecting. The real problem was the wrapper. It’s an odd and frankly horrifying feeling when you can feel and hear the wrapper splitting right up the side as you draw. Yikes. Yeah, a delicate wrapper indeed. After a while I imagine I looked like the poor schmuck who was the victim of an exploding Looney Tunes cigar.
