Review Notes: I've smoked Mayorga robusto's in the past and always rememembered them as good values. So I discovered this in my humidor the other day--probably a year old in there alone--and enjoyed it alongside a bourbon. Wow--I'd forgotten what a rich tasting cigar it was. And this torpedo was so nice. Started off rich and chocolaty with a build of subtle spice. Then it stayed fairly robust--with back and forth flavor and kick--but always smooth. All I know is I kept liking it throughout--wondering why I'd forgotten about it. So, in the end I was reminded of what a great smoke it is for a cigar that can be found so cheaply. Definitely a great humidor staple and perfect for a late afternoon or early evening smoke. Certainly a better smoke than I've gotten for a lot of overhyped cigars at twice the price. Must try...
