Review Notes: From the start this cigar shows its independence from the current crop of Nicaraguan boutique cigars. There is a flavor here that is truly unique -- I want to say hazelnut, but whatever it is it comes with a smooth tasting, even burning package of leather and spice and everything nice. It develops from a medium bodied easy smoking cigar to full flavor with a lot of complexity and a peppery finish. Similar in some ways to what Pepin is doing, but different. Definitely different. An intriguing smoke.
