Review Notes: I put a few of these aside about a year ago thinking they might mellow out a bit with some humidor time. If memory serves, these have not eased up one bit; they're not as powerful as the Antano -- not by a long shot -- but they're still sharp spicy cigars. A firm draw and an even slow burn help keep the pace. The primary flavor is spicy pepper with an underlying sweet woodiness. It's a little thin bodied at first, which gives it a sharp profile, but it gains a little weight as it burns and forms a solid white ash. I have the feeling this blend might be better showcased in a larger size. But this short robusto is still an enjoyable smoke if you're not averse to a little bite.
