Review Notes: ...unfortunately most all of them were lousy. I had high hopes for this cigar too. I bought two of these ($10 each) in January 2005 shortly after it was selected as a top 25 cigar of the year by CA. I finally fired one up and it was awful. While it started off plesant and showed moments of promise, the flavor kept turning to an ultra-intense clover/alfalfa taste. (If I was a horse I'm sure I would have loved it). That in turn led to a finish that was like I had chewed on an old rubber band. When the flavors were good, notes of grassy cinnamon and citrus were evident, but it would only last for a few minutes before abruptly truning nasty again. I gave up about half way through the cigar. If you ever buy one of these, 1) don't wait two+ years to try it and 2) smoke it very slowly. Better yet, save yorself the trouble and stick with the Serie R. They are awesome both right from the store and after years in your humidor.
