Review Notes: WOW!! Outstanding gar! One of my favorites…This cigar is med-to-full, it has notes of coffee and hints of dark chocolate; you’ll find some cedar and earth flavors, very rich and mellow. It has a sweet aroma and leaves this incredible malty aftertaste. I purchased a box from JR and they arrived nicely aged, they come naked; 25 in a beautiful domed like cedar box (JR made a mistake on their web site; these cigars are NOT cellophaned, they come naked…the box was factory sealed and shrink wrapped)…I think I bought the last box they had, since JR appears to have run out…ouch! The cigars came with lots of plume/bloom, completely covered with this beautiful dust like particles all over them! These cigars are very inexpensive, but you wouldn't know that…They look great; great construction, very firm, no soft spots anywhere, a perfect draw, lots of smoke and even burn, I have smoked five or six of these thus far, and I find them to be very consistent throughout. If you have never seen them, unlike the regular mantequillas (box pressed), they are round, and have this unusual look to them, two delicious wrappers; unfortunately, you’ll find the broadleaf on the cap and on the foot of the cigar only, unlike the barber pole type cigars (top-to-bottom), you’ll get the effect of smoking a two capas cigar though…I love the regular mantequillas, but these, well…they just ROCK!!
