Review Notes: I decided to buy this Fonseca F Toro when I attended a local shop's Fonseca night. It looked great and felt nice and firm. But from the first puff to the last, it just stayed rather medium-mild, somewhat boring. It was an okay tobacco flavor, but never got complex; this may be a Fonseca trait, judging by the few I've had. Ash was a little flaky, draw was good. Smoke seemed to have traces of ammonia by my nose, but that sensation didn't come through in the flavor--thank goodness. I haven't liked most of the Fonsecas I've tried, but I do like their 2-2 maduro, which is a nice, short smoke, and the Fonseca Cedar #3 maduro, which you can get from JR.
