Review Notes: Even though I paid a California-inflated price of $7.50 for this very short smoke, I decided to try it on the recommendation of my local purveyor. Its dark wrapper and good looks were marred by a rather large vein running the entire length; otherwise I would have rated it a 9. However, this visible flaw did nothing to detract from its excellent flavor. It started out solidly medium-bodied and exceptionally smooth and creamy, then quickly developed a mild coffee flavor. Midway through it produced some very nice citrus flavor, like orange peel; the first time I've encountered such a distinctly delicious flavor. Draw was excellent all the way through to the end, and the burn and ash were likewise top-grade. Very light aftertaste, just enough to make you want to light up another. If I could find these for a lesser price I'd buy a box. Still, it was such a good smoke I rated the value as an 8, and the overall 9 rating is in comparison to other petite coronas I've smoked.
