Review Notes: This is an average cigar. The construction is very nice, very even, with smooth wrappers and solid craftsmanship. But light it up and it just tastes like a cigar...nothing more, nothing less. I have smoked a dozen of these and just finished the last one during a stroll with the dogs in the woods. A consistently inoffensive but uneventful smoke. I think the issue is that there is not a drop of sweetness to this cigar. Without some sweetness in the flavor, it is difficult to develop more complex flavors. All you're really left with is earthy tobacco. To be fair, there are times when the flavor of this cigar is more satisfying than others. I just can't tell in advance when that is going to be. It is relatively smooth, with a modicum of spice, a good volume of smoke, and a very well behaved cigar in terms of burn, coolness, and how the last third performs. But it just never really comes into its own and announces any sort of personality.
