Review Notes: I can't speak about the similarity of this cigar to old-style Cuban Montes, but if this cigar tastes like them, there are several non-ISOMs on the market that do. It bore no resemblence to any Cuban cigar I've ever tried. It didn't even taste Nicaraguan like, say, a Padron. Adding this to the fact that the cap on the one I tried needed to be trimmed pretty deeply to produce a good draw, and the burn wanted correcting three times, I say this was an overpriced average cigar which doesn't come close to the hype being used to sell it. I strongly advise trying a single or 5 pack first, unless you are so taken with the cool logo on the box you're willing to pay eighty bucks for it.
