Review Notes:
I like these. As far as cut fillers go, for me it's either these, Quinteros Londres Extras, or AF Curly Heads, depending on my mood. These come in odd boxes of 31, and have the same basic flavors as the cabinets, but milder and a bit harsher (which is to be expected, of course). Cedary, leathery, with a little bit of spiciness and sweetness and a woodsy, spicy aroma. It's one-dimensional only in the fact that the flavors remain the same throughout the length of the cigar, but when the flavors are of Tatuajes, that's not really a bad thing at all! The wrapper and cap are very well applied, in my experience, especially for a "bargain" cut-filler cigar. I've had one unravel on me, but I had dropped it (causing the initial cracking) and it pretty much smoked well anyway, so no complaints there. The burn is usually slightly uneven, but it almost always corrects itself and burns straight for the rest of the cigar. At way less than $4 a stick, they are a satisfying 45 min. bargain on the lighter side of medium. A pleasant, honest and simple cigar. Recommended!
