Review Notes:
IMHO, of course. I found this cigar lacking in the build and flavor departments, which are the 2 biggest things, in my book. I think maybe the draw problems others had might be remedied by clipping more off the head, as mine was tight until I had cut approx. 1/2" off, then it was fine. But mine burned unevenly the whole length, requiring numerous touch-ups. I had it aging for about 18 months in 70% RH, so maybe a less humid environ would help. I got flavors of cocoa and woodiness, but there was an odor of ammonia coming off the foot that disagreed with me. (Maybe mine was fake? I purchased it as a single from a local shop with a good rep, though..) The finish was mild and of cream and cocoa, which I really enjoyed. I found this cigar to be mild-medium at best. It reminded me of an AF maduro, for some reason. The Ecuadorian CBL wrapper, maybe. Anyway, IMO you'd be much better off smoking an ISOM H. Upmann #2 if you're looking for a milder 60 min figurado that tastes great and doesn't burn right. I paid around $20 for a single, if my memory is right, so the Upmann is cheaper, too, by a few bucks.
