Review Notes:
Mine didn't say "Lite" on the band, did RP ever make a regular Edge robusto? I got this as a gift, and I'm not sure what it was, but this was the closest thing to the sze I could find. It was 5" L, but felt more like a 52 RG than a 50. If it was a fake, I apologize. A good-looking stick, mine was very well-built. Hefty for it's size, with a nice, oily wrapper. I don't like Connecticut wrapper much, but this one seemed better than most. I couldn't taste as much of the "funkiness" that I usually get from them. The flavor was mostly bready and toasty, with cedary and very mild leathery notes. There was a little kick of spice in the beginning that I enjoyed. Kind of like a Davidoff, but not nearly as good (or expensive, I assume since it was gifted) Other than that, it pretty much stayed one-dimensional throughout, but gained more earthiness, depth and intensity as it got closer to the end. Smooth, but not really creamy, with a chewy mouth feel. Not a bad way to start my day off, but not really exceptional either. The draw was perfect, with a little resistance, and the burn was solid, only requiring a single touch-up. I might find myself in the mood to try them again if I find more, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Enjoyable, but pretty boring after the first 2", if you're not in the mood for a nice, mild toasty smoke. Lasted about 45 mins.
