Review Notes: I bought this on a bid site for $7 and let it sit for 9 months. Fired it up first thing this morning. The cold smell was disconcerting since the wrapper smelled very faintly of cat pee. However, with the first puff I got definite wheaty, sourdough notes in the smoke. It was a bit reluctant to stay lit (probably due to the extremely easy draw), but I prefer multiple relights to a tight draw any day. The sourdough flavor was followed by a leathery black pepper taste. That graduated to a peppery meat flavor (steak au poivre?) that continued on to the end. The other notable thing was the amount of thick smoke this rascal produced--most impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although I would have enjoyed it more if I'd paid less than $7 at auction. But I might be tempted to do it again, and for sure at a lower price.
