Review Notes: It was hard to wait to smoke this. It looks marvelous just sitting there. The wrapper is absolutely gorgeous, a thick black, oily maduro. I was a little suspicious though because it seem like a really tight roll, really tight. It did draw tight and there were a few burn problems and needed corrections. It was full strength from the first puff and didn't really change, which is fine for a short cigar. It gave a 2 inch pure white ash and drew plenty of smoke despite the firm draw. The aroma had a pleasant mustiness and the flavor was top notch with ample body and complexity with a nice maduro sweetness. I picked up dark chocolate, coffee, pepper, and on the finish - caramel. I'd like to try a larger size on this blend, I bet a robusto or corona would be perfect. It really could be an awesome cigar if they could fix the draw problem.
