Review Notes: How can you not be somewhat disappointed in a $35 cigar? I just can't live up to the hype. I received this cigar for Christmas and it sat in the humi for 9 months. It had a perfect draw, typical Padron construction, in other words it looked a little ragged but held together well, an burned pretty well. The flavor was a spicy sweetness up front that reminded me of root beer. The sweetness continued throughout. The dominant flavors were typical Padron, kind of a dry cocoa flavor is how I describe it, with bursts of pepper and spice throughout, but always very smooth. I didn't notice a lot of difference between this and the standard 1926 and not really any different than a lot of good 4 to 8 dollar sticks I've had. At $6 is fantastic, at $10 great, but at $35 its nothing special. Overall it was good, if not a little peppery for my tastes, but I expect more from a $35 cigar.
