Review Notes: I have learned a few things about the cigar world: 1. Most Cuban cigars are only average or marginal; 2. Just because a cigar cost $15.00 does not mean that it will be good; and 3. Few cigar lines are as consistent in quality as the Hoyo 1066. To produce this level of consistency indicates outstanding quality control at the Hoyo factory. The Dark Night is no exception. This is the fullest bodied of the 1066 line and probably the best. Flavor is of earthy rich sweet coffee and pepper. Excellent draw, aroma and construction—I challenge you to find the seam in this cigar. At $5.00 a true go to winner of a cigar.
