Review Notes: A stunning reddish brown wrapper covers this beautiful churchill-sized cigar. No. 15 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2006. The draw is just about perfect, and the ash solidly formed; the burn is mostly even for much of the smoke, but starts to waver towards the end, and needed a relight or two. Over a year of humidor time rounds out the complex flavors of red pepper, leather, and coffee, resulting in a flavorful, balanced smoke and not just a show of power. Still started buzzing towards the end, however. Decent value if you can buy in the neighborhood of the MSRP, and not at the "scalper" prices some places charge. The unique flavor, scarcity and hype (justified or not) always makes for a memorable smoke.
