Review Notes: No. 14 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. It's not a pretty cigar: the wrapper is veiny and spotted with some discolorations. But other than a slightly loose draw it smokes well with a fairly even burn and a solidly formed gray ash. It starts off tasting sour but soon improves turning creamy and nutty and then woody with a strong tea flavor; a complex smoke with a clean and refreshing finish. I do agree that time in the humidor improves it although that's probably true for any cigar. The reasonable price makes this cigar worth a try (after aging it, of course).
