Review Notes: No. 16 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. It's a nice-looking cigar with a dark, rich color. It burns unevenly at times, and it may need an occasional relight or retouch, especially after an ashing. The draw is slightly firm but it puts out plenty of smoke with a strong "aroma." It starts off very spicy and leathery, but it eventually mellows out to reveal some nice dark cherry and nutty flavors, with a tangy orange peel taste on the finish. A great value if you can buy at close to the MSRP. I've smoked 2 of these coronas as well as a few of the other sizes in this line and they've been fairly consistent: they've all had some construction problems, particularly in the burn, but they've all been flavorful.
