Review Notes: No. 2 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. It looks good with a dark and oily reddish brown wrapper and a numbered band. This cigar doesn't smoke particularly well: the burn needs correcting and the draw is rather firm, producing a limited amount of smoke. However, the flavor is excellent: a tangy wood taste initially is soon joined by leather, dark cherry, and spices with an orange peel taste on the finish. Not as strong as expected, but very smooth and flavorful. Overall, a tasty smoke hurt by some construction problems; this stick could have been an anomaly, but since this is a limited edition cigar with a hefty price tag, I'm not very tolerant of any inconsitencies.
