Review Notes: No. 18 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of 2004. It's rough in appearance, with an oily but veiny and lumpy wrapper. It's hard to light, even with a torch, and that's an omen of things to come; it burns poorly and goes out often, requiring several relights. The draw is inconsistent as well, and you have to double puff to get any smoke out of it. It's not that great in the taste department either, with some black pepper and muted toast and anise flavors. A disappointing smoke.
