Review Notes: I just tried one of a fiver I got, and let rest for 3 weeks. I thought it would be better than it was. The burn was okay, and then it was not during the last 3rd. The wrapper was very dark and chocolately, and without toothiness, smooth and oily. The aroma was so-so; kind of sweet with hints of chocolate. The taste was sort of one dimensional, not unlike a floridita maduro I have. There were some changes after the first half though, and hints of coffee and dark chocolate appeared. The construction was inconsistent, and the draw was very tight during the fist half of the smoke; it became looser in the last third of the smoke. While it wasn't a dog rocket, it didn't bowl me over. It was strong in places but, not an overwhelming buzz inducing stick. It's not that I didn't like it but, I was expecting more. I didn't pay 6 bucks a stick for them, and after smoking one, I wouldn't pay that amount. This is an average smoke in my opinion.
