Review Notes: After my initial review and about a month spent in the humidor, I've had a chance to smoke a couple more of these cigars and believe I was a little harsh in my original assessment. The cigar on which my original review was based, I smoked the same day they arrived, which I think is never a good idea and I still had the lingering taste of some strong pipe tobacco I had smoked about an hour prior to trying the first Jericho. In all fairness I found the two I smoked after a month's rest in the humi produced a good deal more flavor than I experienced the first time around and a generally more pleasurable overall experience. Basically, I would recommend this cigar as being a good value as well as a good all day smoke when you're looking for a good 30-40 minute stick, and shall change my ratings accordingly.

Review Notes: Nothing really outstanding about this cigar. Nice appearance, dark brown slightly toothy wrapper, all in all a well constructed Robusto. Some issues with uneven burn early, but could well have been the result of the the reviewer using a new torch for only the second time and not getting a good initial light. The draw was a little on the light side but not objectionable. I guess the primary thing I found fault with was the flavor or lack thereof. Very mild throughout the smoke, I was able to detect some spice and cedar notes, more so in the later half of the smoke. Like most sticks that I find to lacking in flavor, I'm hoping a few months in the humi might bring out some additional tastes, but I always have that hope with cigars I find fault with in the flavor department. I wonder if that's why my humidor seems to be getting smaller and smaller, or so it seems. This is not a bad cigar, and being fairly mild might be a good choice for someone just beginning to smoke handmades, but I definitely would not pay retail.
